I ordered this as a gift for my partner and almost kept it for myself. It’s solid for travel, with amazing detail.

Looks just like the ones in medieval marginalia, amazing that it’s hand-tooled that well

Exactly like the illustration

I saw a photo of the original medieval artwork on Pinterest years ago, the dragon was blue but I prefer it that way on the card holder

Bellissimo e ben fatto

Koen Jacobs (Emptinne, BE)
A rare find

The tooling is sharp but warm, if that makes sense. It feels old and new at the same time. Shipping was fast, and the seller was kind enough to answer my (many) questions with patience.

M
The Gryphon - Coin Purse
Mattia Greco (San Giovanni Rotondo, IT)
Molto soddisfatto

Consegna rapida, qualità ottima. Solo avrei preferito più spazio per le monete, ma il resto è curato nei dettagli. Bravi davvero.

Looks even better IRL

The photos didn’t do it justice. So much detail up close.

I
The Gryphon - Coin Purse
Isabella Wright (Nottingham, GB)
Beautiful work, just be patient

Took a bit longer to arrive than I hoped, but it was worth it. The stitching and texture are great, though I noticed a tiny mark inside (probably normal with natural leather). Love it anyway.

CRAFTING PROCESS

In a fast-paced world, we choose to act with intention. At RELIQ, every detail holds significance, from the initial research sketch to the final hand-burnished edge.

We fuse historical insight with instinctive craftsmanship to create objects that radiate depth, variation, and presence. It’s not just how we make things, it’s why they matter.

Write the path: custom works

Every custom project begins with an ideayours.

Over the years, Reliq has crafted scabbards for swords, daggers, and knives, archery quivers, reenactment and LARP gear, and historically inspired items. Each was commissioned by those who chose to let their story be told in the most refined way possible.

All tooling is executed by hand: in our collection pieces, some intricate motifs are supported by in-house bespoke clichés that guide our hands in keeping precise geometry. In custom work, every line is cut entirely free-hand, preserving the same level of detail while giving the piece its own living presence.

Even if you don’t have a drawing yet, we can explore how to shape it together, finding the right balance between your vision and the technical realization, after order confirmation.

If you wish your idea to be treated with the right care, use the form on the left — and let’s begin.
